Correct peptide reconstitution

Use the calculated bacteriostatic water volume for your target concentration. Verify vial contents and check for visible particles before mixing.

Preparing a sterile environment

Work on a clean, disinfected surface. Wash hands, wear gloves, and wipe vial septa with a fresh alcohol swab before each draw.

Adding bacteriostatic water

Inject water slowly down the inner wall of the vial — never directly onto the lyophilized powder. This protects peptide integrity.

Proper mixing technique

Do not shake. Gently swirl or roll the vial between your palms until fully dissolved. Avoid foaming and aggressive agitation.

Storage guidelines

Refrigerate reconstituted peptides at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Use within the stability window recommended for the compound.
